Project S.A.R.A.H. is a domestic abuse project funded by the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Stop the Violence Against Women Grants Program in conjunction with Passaic County Womens Center, the Jewish Family Service division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Clifton/Passaic and the Association of Jewish Family Service Agencies of New Jersey.
Project S.A.R.A.H. targets Jewish women and Russian-speaking women in the State of New Jersey. The Project seeks to overcome the cultural, religious, and linguistic barriers that prevent these populations from acknowledging the problem of domestic abuse. It aids these populations in finding appropriate ways to access victims services. While our focus is on Orthodox Jewish women and Russian-speaking women, no one in need of help is ever turned away.
